Printine Terms of Service
Last Updated: November 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Printine websites, applications, APIs, developer tools, personalization technologies, production services, fulfillment services, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
The Services are provided by TONGXIAO TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (“Printine”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account, accessing the Services, subscribing to a paid plan, submitting an order, using our APIs, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you use the Services on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In that case, “you” and “Customer” refer to that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Services.
1. Printine Services
Printine provides technology and infrastructure for personalized products and print-on-demand commerce.
Depending on the Services you use, Printine may provide:
- product and POD Model data;
- product personalization and design tools;
- Ready to Buy, Easy Customize, and Full Custom product experiences;
- rendering and mockup generation;
- APIs, SDKs, MCP services, documentation, examples, and developer tools;
- order management;
- production coordination;
- quality-control services;
- packaging;
- warehousing and fulfillment;
- international shipping and tracking;
- Designer and artwork publishing tools; and
- other related services made available by Printine.
Printine generally operates as infrastructure behind our customers’ brands.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed, Printine does not acquire ownership of your storefront, brand, customers, pricing, marketing channels, or customer relationships.
Specific features may vary by product, Model, country, account, subscription plan, or integration.
2. Eligibility and Business Use
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services.
If you are an individual, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher.
The Services are primarily designed for business and professional use, including use by:
- creators;
- brands;
- ecommerce businesses;
- ecommerce platforms;
- developers;
- agencies;
- Designers; and
- other commercial users.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Services complies with laws applicable to your business and customers.
3. Accounts, Workspaces, Apps and Team Members
You may be required to create a Printine account.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information;
- maintaining the security of your account;
- protecting passwords, API keys, tokens, and other credentials;
- activities performed through your account; and
- promptly notifying Printine of suspected unauthorized access.
Printine may support Workspaces, Apps, projects, team members, or similar organizational structures.
You are responsible for team members you invite and for assigning appropriate permissions.
A developer may participate in more than one Workspace or App where permitted.
Subscriptions, usage limits, API permissions, and production access may apply at the App level rather than the Workspace level.
You must not share credentials in a manner that bypasses account, App, subscription, or usage restrictions.
4. Developer Platform and APIs
Printine may provide APIs and developer services including Models, Designer, Render, Orders, Webhooks, MCP, documentation, sample applications, and related tools.
You may use these services only in accordance with:
- these Terms;
- applicable documentation;
- your subscription plan;
- applicable rate and usage limits; and
- applicable laws.
Development and Production Access
Printine may provide development, test, sandbox, or similar environments.
Development access does not necessarily authorize production use.
Printine may require an App to complete a Go Live review before production access is enabled.
As part of that review, Printine may request information such as:
- your website or application URL;
- business information;
- intended use case;
- product experience;
- fulfillment workflow; and
- other information reasonably required to review the integration.
Approval of one App does not automatically approve other Apps.
Printine may refuse, suspend, or revoke production access where an integration presents security, abuse, compliance, intellectual-property, operational, or other material risks.
5. API Credentials and Security
API keys, tokens, secrets, and other credentials are confidential.
You must:
- store credentials securely;
- avoid exposing secret credentials in public client-side code;
- rotate credentials where compromise is suspected;
- use appropriate authentication methods; and
- follow Printine security documentation.
You are responsible for API activity authenticated using your credentials unless caused by a security failure directly attributable to Printine.
Printine may rotate, disable, or revoke credentials where reasonably necessary for security or abuse prevention.
6. API Usage, Limits and Availability
API usage may be subject to:
- request limits;
- rendering limits;
- usage quotas;
- subscription limits;
- concurrency limits; and
- other technical restrictions.
You must not attempt to circumvent these restrictions.
Printine may modify reasonable technical limits to maintain platform security, stability, fairness, or performance.
Unless separately agreed in writing, Printine does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability or a specific service level.
Printine may conduct maintenance, upgrades, security work, or infrastructure changes that temporarily affect availability.
7. API Changes and Deprecation
Printine may improve, modify, replace, or discontinue APIs, endpoints, schemas, Models, or features.
Where reasonably practicable, Printine will provide notice of material production API changes through documentation, Developer Center notifications, email, announcements, or other appropriate channels.
You are responsible for maintaining your integration and responding to announced changes.
Nothing in these Terms requires Printine to maintain every API, product, Model, or feature indefinitely.
8. AI-Assisted Development
Printine may provide documentation, MCP services, OpenAPI specifications, integration prompts, examples, or other resources intended for use with AI coding tools.
AI-generated code may contain errors.
You remain responsible for:
- reviewing generated code;
- testing your integration;
- protecting credentials;
- validating order and payment logic;
- complying with applicable laws; and
- ensuring your production implementation operates correctly.
Printine does not guarantee code generated by third-party AI tools.
9. Subscriptions, Fees and Billing
Certain Services require a paid subscription.
Current plans, prices, usage limits, and billing periods are displayed in the applicable Printine product or Developer Center.
Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions may be charged separately for each App.
Creating multiple Apps does not entitle you to use one paid App subscription across all Apps.
By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge the subscription fees according to the billing cycle presented at checkout.
You may cancel recurring subscriptions using the available account or billing controls.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewal and does not automatically refund charges already incurred, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
Usage-based, production, fulfillment, shipping, or other operational charges may be separate from software subscription fees.
Taxes may apply depending on your location and the nature of the Services.
10. POD Models and Product Information
Printine may make production-ready product definitions (“Models”) available through the website, APIs, Designer, or other Services.
Models may include:
- product specifications;
- variants;
- colors;
- sizes;
- printable areas;
- media;
- mockups;
- personalization capabilities;
- production information; and
- other product data.
Product specifications and availability may change.
Printine may add, modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue Models or variants.
You are responsible for keeping customer-facing product information reasonably synchronized with current Printine data where relevant.
11. Personalization Modes
Printine may support different product experiences.
Ready to Buy
A finished product or design is sold without customer modification.
Easy Customize
A product uses a pre-designed template in which specific fields—such as images, text, fonts, or colors—may be customized.
Other parts of the design may remain locked.
Full Custom
A customer may create a design from a supported blank Model using available design tools.
Not every Model supports every personalization mode.
Available capabilities are determined by the relevant Model, template, integration, or documentation.
12. Orders and Production
You are responsible for reviewing order information before submitting an order.
This includes, where applicable:
- Model;
- variant;
- quantity;
- design;
- personalization data;
- production files;
- shipping address;
- recipient information;
- required customs information; and
- other fulfillment data.
An order may become non-cancellable once it enters production.
Printine may reject, pause, or cancel an order where:
- required information is missing;
- payment or account balance is insufficient;
- production is not technically possible;
- content violates these Terms;
- the product presents legal or safety concerns;
- shipping is unavailable; or
- fraud or abuse is suspected.
Printine may use production partners, suppliers, logistics providers, and other subcontractors to perform the Services.
13. Production Variations
Personalized and print-on-demand products are physical products manufactured from digital designs.
Reasonable variations may occur between:
- digital previews and physical products;
- different displays and printed colors;
- production batches;
- materials;
- print placement;
- dimensions; and
- other manufacturing characteristics.
Digital mockups and renders are visual representations and may not perfectly reproduce the appearance of the physical product.
Minor commercially reasonable manufacturing variations are not necessarily defects.
14. Quality Issues, Reprints and Refunds
If a product is materially defective, damaged before delivery, materially misprinted, or materially inconsistent with the submitted production specification, you should report the issue within the applicable claim period shown in Printine documentation or support policies.
Printine may request:
- photographs;
- packaging photographs;
- shipping labels;
- order information; and
- other reasonable evidence.
Depending on the circumstances, Printine may provide:
- reproduction;
- replacement;
- account credit;
- refund; or
- another reasonable remedy.
Printine may reject claims caused by:
- incorrect customer-provided data;
- incorrect addresses;
- low-quality source files;
- customer design errors;
- incorrect variants selected by the Customer;
- content supplied by the Customer;
- expected production variations; or
- fraud or abuse.
Specific fulfillment or claim policies published by Printine may supplement this section.
15. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping estimates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Delivery may be affected by:
- carriers;
- customs;
- weather;
- recipient availability;
- local delivery conditions;
- public holidays;
- regulatory inspections;
- incorrect address information; and
- events outside Printine’s reasonable control.
Tracking availability varies by shipping method and destination.
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping and recipient information.
Additional charges caused by incorrect information, failed delivery, address changes, returns, customs, or similar events may be charged to you where applicable.
16. Customs, Duties and Taxes
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance charges, or other governmental fees.
Responsibility for these charges depends on the shipping service, destination, commercial arrangement, and applicable law.
Unless Printine expressly states that a shipping service is duty-paid or tax-inclusive, you should not assume that duties or taxes are included.
You are responsible for communicating appropriate information to your customers.
17. Customer Content
“Customer Content” means designs, artwork, photographs, text, logos, trademarks, product data, personalization data, files, or other content submitted to Printine by or on behalf of you or your customers.
You retain ownership of your Customer Content.
You grant Printine and its service providers a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, modify as technically necessary, render, reproduce, transmit, and use Customer Content solely as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Services;
- generate previews and production files;
- manufacture products;
- fulfill orders;
- provide support;
- maintain platform security; and
- comply with law.
This license does not transfer ownership of Customer Content to Printine.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary for Printine to process Customer Content for these purposes.
18. Designer Content
Designers may upload artwork, create product designs, or publish templates through Printine.
Unless otherwise agreed, Designers retain ownership of their original artwork.
By publishing Designer Content through Printine, the Designer grants Printine the rights reasonably necessary to:
- display the work;
- generate previews and mockups;
- apply the work to supported Models;
- make the work available through Printine;
- produce and fulfill products incorporating the work; and
- promote the relevant listing or Designer work.
Any applicable royalty arrangements will be governed by the terms displayed in the Designer Platform or a separate agreement.
Printine may review, reject, suspend, unpublish, or soft-delete Designer Content where reasonably necessary.
Unpublishing a work does not necessarily erase historical order, audit, accounting, or operational records.
19. Intellectual Property Responsibilities
You must not use the Services to create, upload, manufacture, sell, or distribute content that infringes another person’s:
- copyright;
- trademark;
- design right;
- publicity right;

- other intellectual-property or proprietary rights.
You are responsible for obtaining necessary licenses for content you submit.
Printine may remove or disable allegedly infringing content and may suspend repeat or serious infringers.
Intellectual-property complaints may be submitted to:
A complaint should include sufficient information to identify the protected work, allegedly infringing material, claimant, and basis of the claim.

- APIs;
- Designer technology;
- rendering systems;
- documentation;
- UI and UX;
- Model structures;
- platform architecture;
- trademarks;
- logos;
- proprietary content; and
- other intellectual property.
Except for rights expressly granted under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Printine proprietary technology except as expressly permitted.
21. Fonts, Clipart, Assets and Third-Party Content
Printine may provide fonts, clipart, shapes, templates, media, or other assets.
Different assets may be subject to different licenses.
You must comply with license information presented with the relevant asset.
Availability of an asset in Printine does not necessarily grant rights to use that asset outside the scope permitted by its license.
Third-party content remains subject to the rights of its respective owner.
22. Product Safety and Regulatory Responsibilities
Printine seeks to comply with product-safety and regulatory obligations applicable to Printine based on its actual role in the relevant transaction and supply chain.
Customers remain responsible for legal and regulatory obligations applicable to their own role, which may include obligations as a seller, manufacturer, importer, distributor, marketplace operator, economic operator, or other regulated party.
For products sold or made available in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2023/988, the General Product Safety Regulation (“GPSR”), may impose different obligations depending on the role of each participant in the supply chain. (EUR-Lex)
Where applicable, you are responsible for ensuring that required:
- product information;
- warnings;
- traceability information;
- economic-operator information;
- responsible-person information; and
