Bold Blue Orange Textured Blooms — meiqin shan

This textural patternwas inspired by the artist’s childhood summer afternoons spent picking wildflowers in the countryside. The thick, impasto brushstrokes capture the rough, tactile feel of sun-warmed petals, while the bold blue and orange palette nods to the contrast between sky and the glowing center of a daisy. The scattered, organic arrangement rejects rigid symmetry, mirroring the unplanned beauty of a meadow. It’s an ode to small, joyful moments—those quiet, perfect afternoons where time slows down, and the world feels bright, warm, and full of gentle, uncomplicated life.
